Hi! I'm Mónica from Mexico City. I studied Linguistics and Spanish Literature, and I’ve taught over 5,000 classes on italki. I love languages and my dream is to speak as many as possible. I use a natural, conversational approach so you can start speaking Spanish from day one. I’ll adapt to your pace, goals, and interests — culture, food, music, travel, or daily life. I discovered my love for teaching by helping exchange students at university. Since then, I've combined my passion for Spanish and Mexico City in dynamic, culture-rich lessons. As usual Mónica is a fantastic teacher. I can notice an improvement with my Spanish and I am excited to improve even more. I am also becoming more confident when I speak and a little less hesitant. I definitely recommend Monica if you are looking for a teacher.

Mónica is an excellent teacher. She is knowledgeable and answers my questions no matter how ridiculous. She also customizes each class based on what I want to work on as well as the areas in which I could use more practice. The homework she gives is useful and interesting. I highly recommend taking a class with Mónica.
