¡Hola! Soy Juliana, tutora colombiana de español con 4 años de experiencia. Especialista en conversación natural y cultura latinoamericana (¡hablamos de cine, música y tradiciones mientras aprendes!). Mis clases son como charlas entre amigos: usamos películas, fotos o temas que te apasionen para practicar. Soy paciente, creativa y me encanta adaptarme a tus metas. ¿Listo para aprender con alegría y sin presión? ¡Te espero! Como tutora me gusta escuchar al estudiante y principalmente tener en cuenta sus objetivos en un periodo de mediano y largo plazo. Soy empática, siempre le doy un buen trato al estudiante y busco la forma en la que ambos podamos crecer, así como el estudiante puede aprender de mí yo también puedo aprender de él. Mi programa de estudio contiene bastante material didáctico, eso sí, cambia de acuerdo a los intereses de cada estudiante. Mi idea es que el estudiante hable conmigo de cualquier tema que yo le plantee, y nos apoyemos en lecturas, videos, música o cualquier tema convencional o no convencional, y así mismo apoyar al estudiante y ayudarlo a mejorar su pronunciación y enriquecer su vocabulario.

I’ve been working with Juliana for a while now and can confidently say that she is a wonderful, kind, and patient tutor and a lovely, interesting, creative, and intelligent human. I look forward to my lessons with her and the class time generally flies by. I have learned so much and, for the things that I haven’t yet learned, I truly appreciate Juliana’s capacity for correcting the same mistakes, over and over again, with no visible signs of frustration 😂. She’s very patient with you, gentle, and works to develop you. The materials she uses and gives for homework are fun and engaging. Her classes are a lot of fun, and you’ll finish them with added knowledge. Looking forward to being taught by her even more!
