I've lived in the UK all my adult life and have been married to a British man, who's also an English teacher, for 13 years. I first taught in Italy, in 2012, and discovered a vocation for teaching as well as the best coffee and pizza in the world. I enjoy getting to know my students and helping them improve their English at the same time. I'm patient and understanding, and appreciate how effortful an hour of English can be. I also know that speaking a foreign language can be scary, so I do my best to make students feel comfortable and provide a space for them to gain confidence and even come to enjoy English.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
My lessons are quite structured in that all the mistakes a student makes are typed so we can correct them together. The lesson notes can be studied between class and the corrected forms used in the next lesson. Ideally, I like students to read an article, listen to a podcast or watch a video before our lesson so our conversation can be about challenging topics as well as the everyday; but I'm also happy just to chat and teach the language points that come up naturally.Öğretim materyallerim
