My more than 10 years of experience as a Japanese teacher have allowed me to create a fast and efficient method for students to learn Japanese.
I understand that every students is different and that each student has different goals and capabilities.
I aim to use each lesson as an opportunity to help you improve your language skills, but still personalize the lesson to your capabilities.

The first step is to know the student's goals.
Once we know the student's level, we will develop a study plan to help the student achieve his/her short- and long-term goals.
Classes are conducted 100% in Japanese, and the main focus is on developing the student's speaking ability. Lessons can be purely conversational or tailor-made to provide activities to deepen grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
I have also prepared hundreds of students for the JLPT.
My teaching style is fun and an exciting, yet rigorous approach to helping students achieve their goals.

Wonderful as always! I tried out a quick 30 minute session to see how I felt about it, and it was such a nice little snippet. We did a few minutes of conversation work, and then a brief lesson. I still felt like I learned a lot in that time frame!

Mari was lovely! This was our first full lesson after the trial, and I feel like I learned a lot. The environment was both challenging and welcoming, and I appreciated her teaching methods. Can't wait to book another class!
