Hi! My name is Valia. I was born and raised in Greece. I am a native Greek speaker and I also speak English, French, German and Portuguese. Foreign languages are my passion along with music, literature, fitness and science. I have a Pharmacy degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece. I have also studied music and I am currently working as a music performer. I am also a street musician, loving getting in contact with other people. I am the creator of "My Greek Podcast".

Öğretmen Olarak Ben

For the past two years, I have been teaching Greek, giving private lessons to both students of Elementary School and adults, in person and online. I love working with people of different ages and diverse backgrounds. I am flexible and creative and strongly believe that learning a new language has to be fun, so I always try to find new ways to keep my students motivated and engaged. Building a strong relationship of trust with them is also a priority to me.

My approach to teaching is student-oriented and I always adapt to each student's needs. I focus on conversations about everyday life and topics of your interests, so you can speak with confidence. Furthermore, I provide you with grammar and vocabulary exercises, if needed. I also use audio files quite often that I record myself to help you build your listening skills. Whatever your level is, and whether you are learning Greek for personal or professional reasons, I will do my best to deliver the most complete lesson to you. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Είναι σίγουρο ότι σε όλα υπάρχει ένα κρυφό νόημα. Αλλά ακριβώς επειδή είναι κρυμμένο, συνεχίζουμε να ψάχνουμε για το νόημα. Ακόμα δεν ξέρω γιατί μαθαίνω ελληνικά, αλλά ξέρω ότι έτσι γνώρισα τη Βάλεια. Ευχαριστώ! ❤️
