りこ(Rico)

りこさん is an amazing teacher! I have done over 10 lessons so far and I've learned so much. The usual layout of the lesson is spending the first 15 minutes or so having a conversation in Japanese and the rest of the time we go over the powerpoint. We use the Minna No Nihongo textbook, but the slides she uses are very clear. There are a lot of examples that we go through to make sure that I fully understand each grammar point. りこさん is also very supportive and patient especially when I struggle to find words or to form sentences. With each lesson, however, I feel more confident in talking in Japanese. Thank you!! If you are thinking about taking a class with her, don't hesitate and book it!

I studied with Rico for the last 9 months and thanks to her I was able to complete the Tobira textbook. Her classes are really wonderful with detailed grammar explanations, examples and practice questions. For an intermediate student who takes classes in Japanese only, her grammar explanations were always easy for me to understand. I would reccomend her classes to other intermediate students who are looking for a mix of fun conversations and easy to understand lessons.

今日のレッスンはめちゃたのしかった。うれしいです。新しい単語を習いました。りこさん、おつかれさまです。 Riko is a great teacher. If I have a purpose, she is always happy to facilitate the class just as I request, and she also offers to assist with any questions outside of the classroom.

りこさんはめちゃやさい先生だと思います。 今日は本当に説明するのが上手です。 新しい言葉を習いました。うれしいです。 お疲れさまです。 I am so happy every week I have a lesson with Rico san she is so good at explaining things and is very patient if i made mistakes she does not make me feel bad she supports my learning. Thank you so much for all your hard work and effort. I lookforward to next weeks lesson. Thank you =)

初めて授業を受けることが、りこ先生と話すのが楽しいです。あっと言う間に時間が過ぎました（笑）これからもよろしくお願いします。It's my first time doing lesson with Rico-sensei, it's been fun and before I knew it, time flew by so quickly. I look forward to more!
