Sou brasileira e sou apaixonada pelo meu país, o Brasil, pela minha cultura e pela língua Portuguesa. Sou uma pessoa extramamente alegre, gosto de cachorros, de fazer esportes, como vôlei, tênis, andar de bike, trotar. Além disso, gosto muito muito de viajar, de conhecer lugares e pessoas novas. Amo aprender novos idiomas e, sempre digo que sou e sempre serei eterna estudante de espanhol, inglês e francês, as línguas que já domino relativamente bem. Para isso, em geral, leio livros ou jornais online, assisto séries, filmes ou escuto rádio na internet.

I am a creative, dynamic, and extremely fun teacher. I have 11 years of experience as a Portuguese teacher for foreigners, and currently, I have studied a Postgraduate degree in this field at PUC in Rio de Janeiro, one of the best and pioneer. As I love sharing what I know, I do everything to make my students learn while laughing and in a light-hearted manner. I strongly believe that having an excellent relationship with my students can make them feel more comfortable and make the task of being bilingual more enjoyable. From begginners to advanced, including the ones that are going to do Celpe-Bras exam. Classes are very lively as I prioritize conversation and translation is always my LAST option. I believe that through games, interactive activities, music, videos, movie clips, poems and books, a person can master a second language. I use many resources in virtual classes, such as Google Classroom, Jamboard, WordWall, Canva slides, and other tools. Liane is a great teacher! This was my first lesson with her and my first lesson learning Portuguese. She was very patient and helpful in the class. She also provided a great slideshow and introduction to the language. I’m definitely going to keep booking lessons with her.

I am very happy to have Liani as a professor! After a few months away, I returned and had a great session discussing indeterminate subject verbs. I also greatly enjoyed our free-flowing conversation in portuguese, as always!

This lesson was focused on health topics and when feel sick know has doente in Portuguese that was in-depth and a really motivational lesson that led to many new words and phrases like remédio/medicamento , fígado , ultrassom , prescrição, gastroenterologia/ gastro/autoimune / comprimidos & especialista and looking how you would remedy them like with teas or rest depending on the symptom.
