Need a friendly, patient English tutor? I’m Alexandra, a TEFL-certified teacher with 3+ years of experience helping students worldwide (from Poland to South Korea!) build confidence through natural, conversational English.
As a native English and Afrikaans speaker, I understand language-learning challenges—and my relaxed, supportive style makes lessons feel like chatting with a friend. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me writing songs or diving into chemistry research (yes, I’m a science student too!).

I have completed a 120 hour TEFL Certificate and am therefore qualified to teach English as a foreign language. Learning a new language can be very challenging, but my duty is to make this process as enjoyable as possible for you. As your teacher, I will customize my lessons to your learning goals. I am an enthusiastic and positive teacher and will create a positive space for you to learn, make mistakes and grow as an English speaker. I love teaching because I can help others improve their skills. I have a relaxed and conversational teaching style. So when you book a class with me, we can either talk about any topic of your choice or I can ask you questions. I am patient and will support you every step of the way. I will give you enough room to freely express yourself and make our lessons as casual as possible. I use a large variety of resources and materials depending on what you prefer. So I will customize each lesson to your needs.
