I'm Daria and I am a polyglot. I teach Romanian, Russian, English and Italian on italki. I studied Philosophy, International, and Economic Studies at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. 🎓 I grew up in the Republic of Moldova in a bilingual enviornment, speaking Romanian and Russian. I wrote my dissertation on medical ethics. I worked on academic, business, and cultural projects, providing both translation and consecutive interpretation for international NGOs and other organizations. 🏆 I create a supportive and engaging learning environment through my patience so that each student feels welcomed. My experience as a multilingual translator and interpreter has given me deep insight into the challenges of cross-cultural and cross-language communication, which I apply in practice, teaching students of any age and level.
🔎 I am detail-oriented and explain the reasoning behind every correction.

a) Natural, spontaneous conversation;
b) On a specific topic.
While we speak I correct you and suggest better ways to express your thoughts in a soubtle and supportive way.
✔️ Business & academic - We focus on formal language, including interview and presentation preparation, reviw of CV and letters of intetion.

Another great lesson with Dasha! I really enjoy how clear her presentations and explanations are as well as the fact that, at no point do I feel overwhelmed or bored. A grammar point is introduced, examples provided and I am then tasked with providing more examples to ensure I have understood the point. It's simple and effective and I appreciate this immensely.
