Hi, I'm Mariset! While I am a dedicated Spanish teacher, I’m also a passionate linguist and cultural enthusiast. My journey with languages began officially when I pursued a degree in Modern Languages, which gave me a solid foundation in grammar and linguistics. My education continues today as I finalize my Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (ELE)—meaning my methods are always current and effective. I currently live in France, and this experience has taught me what it truly takes to adapt to a new country and achieve fluency. I understand the cultural hurdles and the excitement of using a new language in daily life. Book a trial lesson and let's meet! I specialize in teaching English and French speakers (A1-B2). As a language learner myself, I know the biggest barrier is fear—so my classroom is always a patient, supportive, and error-free zone. My qualifications (5+ years of experience and an ELE Master’s degree) ensure our time is focused and effective. Mariset and I have never had a problem finding topics of interests of both of us to discuss. She's very open to suggestions on numerous topics. That said I guess I should state I do conversation sessions with her.

Mariset is very dynamic teacher, also super patient and encouraging for beginners. I really like the fact that she prepares materials to make her courses more concrete and have a fun conversation at the same time. I always look forward to having courses with her!

Mariset and I have no problem finding topics to talk about. We question each other and suggest topics to each other, normally at the start of each class. I'm really enjoying my sessions with Mariset.
