I had such a lovely first lesson with Amélie! I had forgotten much of my French and needed extra time to recall or look up words, but she was incredibly patient, sweet, and encouraging throughout the entire conversation. She asked interesting questions and kept everything flowing naturally, which helped me speak much more than I expected. Amélie matched her French perfectly to my level and spoke very clearly, which made a huge difference for my listening comprehension. Whenever I needed extra support, she could quickly clarify something in English or Spanish without disrupting the conversation. She created such a comfortable environment for returning to French, and I left the lesson feeling encouraged, more confident, and excited to continue rebuilding my speaking and listening skills.

It was such a pleasure talking to Amelie! She’s so much fun to chat with, and our conversation really boosted my confidence - even through my somewhat broken French. I’m usually a bit nervous when meeting someone new for the first time, but she made it feel so easy and comfortable. I’ll keep practicing, and I’m looking forward to doing this again! :)
