I am Michael, a dedicated TESOL-certified English instructor with over six years of specialized experience in Business English, IELTS test preparation, interview coaching, and conversational fluency development. I have six years of experience in teaching in general and three years of experience teaching online. I hold a TESOL Certificate and I am also a Certified Leadership Trainer. For my English language, I take a very versatile approach depending on the needs and goals of my students. I like to have an open conversation to assess my students and be able to give them feedback on what I believe we can work on.

My class sessions mainly start with open conversations that allow me to learn about my student and also make an assessment of how best can help them make improvements. i like to ask the student what goals or targets they may have and also get to have a picture of what weaknesses or strengths they believe they have in English.
My approach may take a contextual or topical approach to get the student to understand the use of nouns and verbs. These go on to take a role play-based approach to help the student apply the right use of tenses, adjectives, and pronouns. I also like to take on new word challenges to teach my students new words.
