Olá! Meu nome é Isabela. Sou escritora e jornalista, com doutorado em literatura. Eu nasci no Rio de Janeiro, mas morei grande parte da minha vida em Fortaleza, no nordeste do Brasil. Hoje, eu vivo em São Paulo. Acabei aprendendo muito com todas essas mudanças e gosto de trazer, nas aulas, não só a língua, mas também a cultura brasileira. :)
Hi! My name is Isabela. I'm a writer and journalist, with PhD in literature. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, but lived most of my life in Fortaleza, in the northeast of Brazil. Today, I live in São Paulo. I ended up learning a lot with all these changes and I love bringing to class not only the language, but also the Brazilian culture. :)
Uma das coisas que mais gosto de fazer é compartilhar com outras pessoas aquilo que sei. Ser professora, para mim, é esse gesto de partilha, antes de tudo. Ensino literatura em cursos livres em São Paulo (Brasil), mas também já dei aulas de conversação em português e espanhol.
One of my favorite things is to share what I know with others. Being a teacher, for me, is this gesture of sharing, above all. I teach literature in São Paulo (Brazil), but I've also taught conversation classes in Portuguese and Spanish.

Amazing introductory class. Had enough time and space to talk enough, and whenever I paused Isabela had the best possible questions to guide and further fuel the conversation without interrupting. She provided the perfect food for thought at the perfect time and I felt that I improved from the first lesson.
