London based author with a degree in communication arts. I am an artist and a corporate communications professional. I love meeting new people for a chat. Having varied interests help me connect well with people. Currently I'm working on an app game that's related to climate change. I love helping people out and I enjoy riding my bike and hiking. I'm flexible to the needs of students. It's also important to have meaningful and relevant conversations to keep learners interested. A good teacher is one that employs creativity to help students retain information.

Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım

I vary my teaching style to suit different ages and abilities to help students meet their learning goals. In teaching younger learners, I encourage singing, storytelling and word games. As for teens, I take a more motivational tone and make lessons interactive & relevant by helping them access the English language for self-expression, and further appreciate English music, movies and culture. For adults, topics could range from current events, work related discussions to more advanced skills. Lastly, you can expect quality uninterrupted lessons since I use fast fiber internet.

It was pure pleasure to talk with you. Anyone who wants to get self confidence in conversation should talk with Maria. It was my first lesson on Italki, Maria calmed me down, she conducted the lesson in a wonderful way. Everyone should try without any doubt. 5 stars is not enoguh for you ^^

Five stars aren't enough to express how great my first lesson with Maria was. First, she gave me 7 subjects for my essay, I wrote it and sent it to her, then she came up with several tips for helping me to write better. I really learned a lot with her! If you set about to improve your English, specially your writing skill, Maria is surely a great option!
