I obtained my CTCSOL (Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) from the Confucius Institute — it’s the only certificate that officially qualifies someone to teach Mandarin. I also hold a PSC certificate, which means I speak very standard Chinese with no regional accent.
