6 YEARS of Language Learning & Teaching Experience I didn’t start teaching as a tutor, but as a language enthusiast who loves learning languages and sharing cultures with others. I am mostly self-taught, so I understand the challenges learners face and when tutors can be most helpful. I see myself as a lifelong learner, and I love teaching and sharing my knowledge with my students.

I’ve been teaching Nepali professionally since 2014. Over the years, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work with students from more than 50 different countries, each one bringing their own story, culture, and curiosity. I used to tutor to middle school and high school students when I was in Nepal. I started off teaching Nepali in person, mostly working with travelers, expats, and anyone interested in learning the language here in Nepal. However, after the pandemic hit in 2019, I transitioned to online teaching, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Going online allowed me to connect with learners from across the globe, and opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

Let's share the joy of language learning ✨ My German teacher always turned the "scary" language into an adventure - with each complicated grammar rule, she added a story of it's origin. I learned not just how to speak the language, but why it is spoken in this way, how it has evolved with time, culture and history, and how we can fully enjoy it. Words don't exist in a vacuum - they have not only meanings, but also the traces of the everyday interactions, stories, histories and aspirations of our ancestors. Taking inspiration from my dear teacher, I'll try to teach you not to just speak Nepali, but also to ✨ live in it ✨ and love it.

I am sure that you already know few words in Nepali, "namaste", "yoga", "Himalaya", "stupa", "yak"... Helping my students to learn Nepali is my main motivation. I have been teaching Nepali for 7 years and French for 12 years. I am a certified teacher with a master degree in teaching French as a foreign language. I am very patient with my students and believe that everyone learns at different pace. All my teaching methods suit my students' needs. Being once a student of French and English languages, I know what difficulties and challenges one faces while learning a new language.
