I have taught at my local E.L.K.S lodge and I have worked in an elementary school in Deaf classrooms. When I take on new students, I do like to take the first lesson with them to get to know them and ask them questions about their desire to learn sign language. This gives me the ability to figure out the best way to cater to each student individually.
