In Persian for doing some actions you need to add the verb "khordan".

Persian words with "خوردن"

Meaning: drinking water 
-This is informal. You might see "ab nooshidan / آب نوشیدن" in  books.

ENG: I was thirsty so I'm drinking water.
FARSI: Man ab mikhoram chon teshneh boodam.
من آب میخورم چون تشنه بودم.

Meaning: eating food

ENG: I was hungry, so I ate some food.
FARSI: Man ghaza khordam chon gorosne boodam.
من غذا خوردم چون گرسنه بودم.

Meaning: to be beaten

ENG: The child was beaten by his friends.
FARSI: kudak ra doostanash kotak zadand.
کودک را دوستانش کتک زدند.

Meaning: to get fresh air

ENG: I wanted to get some fresh air and watch the sky.
FARSI: man mikhastam yek havayi bokhoram va aseman ra tamasha konam.
من میخواستم یک هوایی بخورم و آسمان را تماشا کنم.

Meaning: to fall on the ground

ENG: I fell because I wasn't paying attention.
FARSI: man zamin khordam chon havasam nabood.
من زمین خوردم چون حواسم نبود.

Meaning: to concede a goal

ENG: The team conceded two goals.
FARSI: teem do ta gol khord.
تیم دوتا گل خورد.

Meaning: to be kicked by someone

ENG: He was kicked by his coach.
FARSI: oo az morabbiash lagad khord.
او از مربی‌اش لگد خورد.
