The place where they first grow rice in Italy. 卢塞迪奥领，意大利。1123年，天主教隐修会的修士们在皮德蒙特的上波河谷地一带修建了卢塞迪奥修道院，后来成为是意大利最早种植水稻的地方。这片地区现在被叫做卢塞迪奥领（意为卢塞迪奥的王室庄园；卢塞迪奥则于1784年被世俗政权收回）。但由于卢塞迪奥的水稻生产严重依赖于水源，因此可预见的阿尔卑斯山脉的冰川消融和降水的减少将威胁到卢塞迪奥的水稻生产。
