I’m a friendly and supportive professional with 16 years of experience as a teacher and teacher trainer. I hold a BA in English Literature, CELTA and DELTA teaching qualifications, and am currently studying for a Masters in Creative Writing in the UK.
I love movies, books and photography. Travelling is a passion - I've lived in 3 countries and travelled to nearly 40! I speak Japanese and a *tiny* bit of Spanish. I also live with two very fluffy ginger cats who occasionally like to join my classes!
Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
As a DELTA-qualified teacher, I provide communicative, success-oriented lessons to help you achieve your specific needs, such as delivering presentations, writing effective essays, or developing fluency and confidence in social situations. I have taught general, academic and exam English (IELTS, FCE, CAE, ESOL) as well as business and medical English. My students have ranged from high school and university students to business professionals and Olympic athletes.
My students tell me I am a fun and friendly teacher and often comment on how much they enjoy my classes and the progress they have made. During my career, I have helped hundreds of students work towards achieving exam success!
Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I'm a kind, patient and encouraging teacher and am used to working with students who have big goals to achieve. I use a variety of tools to provide engaging lessons, including audio and video content, online quizzes, interactive activities, and plenty of opportunities for students to use the language they are learning. I am a big fan of homework to not only review what you’ve studied, but to also help you prepare for your next class. My students emerge from lessons feeling confident and motivated.
