Hello- I'm an iTalki community English tutor. I love languages and speaking with others makes up a huge part of the work I do professionally as well. I have a great deal of experience working with people of all ages, ranging from youth, adolescents, and adults. I like to bring myself into the work I do - I'm a fun, friendly, and curious person who loves to meet new people and learn about the world. I believe that all students have the ability to succeed and achieve their language goals. We will create a brave, safe environment where you it is okay (and even fun!) to make mistakes, as this is the way we grow and flex our language learning skills. Just as a baby learns its native language through lots of babbling and nonsensical speech, we can learn a 2nd language through the process of letting go and deliberately practicing without concerns of always using the right conjugation or perfect adjective.Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I firmly believe that the best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in that world. Our lessons will challenge you to utilize language in a broad range of ways (e.g. writing, reading, listening, speaking) and to expose you to a wide range of topics, media, dialects, and more. We will adapt our lessons to your current English level and goals. As I mentioned above, a huge part of language learning is learning to let go of perfectionism! Acceptance that you WILL make mistakes is the largest obstacle to language learning for many folks.
