Hi, I am Yujie. I was born and raised in China, and I currently live in Shanxi Province.

06/2016 - 09/2018. I used my spare time to teach Chinese to primary school students in China. This experience taught me more about students' psychology and how to get their attention so that they could learn more.
11/2018 - 05/2020, I began to work in an after-school tutoring program. I taught junior high school students Chinese and politics and did some management work.
06/2020, I started working on Italki. I have taken classes with students from more than 20 countries and completed nearly 3,000 classes.

The lesson pace and difficulty was appropriate to the level of my chinese language.
It was conversational and Yu Jie picked out words and phrases I needed to learn so that I can converse in Chinese comfortably.
Conversing with Yu Jie was comfortable and what she teaches is aligned with my goals in learning the Chinese language.

Lessons with Yujie are always time well spent. Learning a new language is never easy, but having a patient and attentive instructure can make the experience less intimidating. Yujie laoshi challenges and encourages students each lesson to help them meet their personal language goals. I'd highly recommend her to anyone intrested in learning or improving their fluency in Mandarin.
