My name is Darren and I'm from Scotland. I'm 30 years old and have spent the last decade travelling throughout the world. My travels have taken me from Europe to south east Asia. As well as travelling the world I'm an avid consumer of movies, tv shows and video games. I'm big fan of history and literature and into training mixed martial arts.

I'm TEFL qualified, and have been teaching English in schools and tutoring individuals for nearly 5 years. I've taught online to students for 4 years.

My teaching style is all about boosting the students confidence when it comes to conversing in English. While I will correct pronunciation recommend phrases a native speaker would more likely use in certain situations, the aim is to get them flowing in conversation about topics, in a way that is clear to understand.
