My name is Shauna and am 49years old. I am from the beautiful city Cape Town South Africa. I am bilingual in Afrikaans and English. I attendented an Afrikaans School and matriculated with Afrikaans as my 1st Language. I am a certified TEFL Teacher and I also have a career diploma as a Personal Secretary. I love working and communicating to people. I am currently learning a 3rd language which is Arabic for my religion purpose therefore I know that it can be difficult to some people learning a new language

I know that learning a new language can be a bit challenging to some people but I want you to know that in this classroom am going to make learning Afrikaans fun so that you can feel confident when speaking and learning Afrikaans. Now don't be afraid to make any mistakes in the classroom as it is through those mistakes that we learn and grow
