My lesson is perfect for those who can already speak the language and wish to take it to the next level. Students who want to practice speaking the language on a weekly basis are welcome to book my class.
We can discuss what happened in your life or the challenges you faced thus I could help you improve the way you manage them with better vocabulary and approach. I will take notes and provide feedback to you at the end of each lesson.
I have reading materials, Q&A that are specifically designed for non-native English speakers. I will correct your pronunciation, introduce new vocabulary using synonym & antonym, and help you remember grammar, words, idioms along our conversation.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I like to engage with you as my friend, and give you feedback as a coach.
We shall have a learning objective and I want to ensure you achieve the objective for every lesson you take with me. So, I will give you a nudge whenever necessary.
I will ask you questions frequently and encourage your participation in the conversation to always maintain at 70%, and 30% for me.
In a trial lesson, I will assess the level of language you wish to learn and discuss on the areas that you need to improve on. It will give you an insight of where you are even if you don’t take lessons with me. I will customise a program so you could have a plan that you could follow and take action in your daily life.我的教学资料

Rene is an excellent teacher and I am very fortunate to have had this opportunity to study Mandarin Chinese with her. Her lesson was challenging, interesting and enjoyable. In addition to introducing me to new vocabulary, and grammar, Renee shared her insights on travel and other aspects of culture with me. It's been a while since my last review for Rene, so I thought I'd update it! Rene has been helping me improve my Cantonese since roughly January when I started the Fluent in 3 Months challenge.
Even though I'm no longer officially taking Cantonese, I'm still keeping up my weekly sessions with Rene, and she's not only an excellent teacher, but a great person and very fun to talk to. It helps that we're both Malaysian-Chinese, so I feel a sense of kinship with her. 🌙⭐
It's not often you find tutors on italki who you could make friends with, but with Rene, I already think of her as a friend! 😀

Rene assisted me with the Fluent in 3 Months challenge for the past 90 days and I could see the results from Day 0 until now! She's a fun teacher and very easy to talk to, and she explains all the grammar, sentence structure, and cultural points of anything I didn't understand. Although the challenge is over, I look forward to speaking with her again!
