Hi! I'm an ex- Londoner who currently lives in sunny Southern Spain. I love to eat, drink, dance, travel, and of course to talk with new people from all over the world.
Education has always been my passion and I've worked in schools or with educational charities ever since I left university, where I studied English Literature. I'm a curious, passionate person, who is very interested in others and loves to discuss and debate. I bring this enthusiasm and energy to my teaching and hope that together we can learn lots about the world as well as about languages.教学经验
I strongly believe that variety is the spice of life! Because of this I like to teach at all levels, because I think everyone has something to offer and to learn.
I completed my CELTA training at St Giles International and have been teaching English for over a year now. I'm enthusiastic, attentive, and also very supportive as a teacher. I encourage my students to be confident and independent with their language usage.
I believe it's important to make mistakes as these are your opportunities for improvement, but most of all it's important to enjoy your language learning. Finding fun and satisfaction in using your developing skills is where learning flows from best!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
In our first lesson together we will discuss your specific personal goals and agree a plan on how to meet them. It's very important to me that lessons are personalised to the student, because we all want and need different things from a teacher, so I'll be keen to meet you and to find out what kind of learner you are.
My emphasis as a teacher is on communication, and I think the best way to get there is to get speaking as much as possible! We will use real texts to experience authentic language that you'll find in the real world as sparks for animated discussion, and I'll then set homework each week to help you condense what you have learnt and expressed in class.证书

Maya is definitely a great teacher. I've booked around 20 lessons with her and I already feel how my speaking is getting better everyday.
She can keep the conversation flowing in a very natural way so you don't feel like a student but a buddy.
