“喜欢” and “欢喜”在意义上和使用上是完全不相同的。 喜欢means to like something or somebody and欢喜describe the feeling of joy. 喜欢表示to like 某事或某人,而欢喜主要讲心情,表示开心的状态。 例如 他欢喜打乒乓球……(X) 他喜欢打乒乓球……(O) 打乒乓球使他欢喜……(O) 打乒乓球使他喜欢……(X)

I agree with Jennie. In modern Chinese 欢喜 is not common any more when it means " to like", but you probably still can find it in ancient Chinese or some dialects. Examples: 1.《水浒》第三十七回 营里管事的人并使唤的军健人等,都送些银两与他们买茶吃;因此,无一个不欢喜宋江。 2. 他欢喜拉小提琴。 欢喜 usually means joy in modern Chinese. But you can always use 喜欢 when you means " to like". I will not worry if I were you :)

The meanings are the same except in grammar usage. The first character serves as a verb and the next one is the noun. It is like "I like you" vs I am fond of you". Same meaning but the grammar structure is different. Most of the time, two character terms can interchange without change in meaning but there are exceptions such as 花生 vs 生花. In 我/欢喜/喜欢/你 The two character term serves as a verb. In 欢喜之感..., it becomes a noun.

I‘’m Chinese。In my opinion if you like a guy,you will say“i like you”,in here “like”=喜欢。 If you meet him in unexpected, you will feel 欢喜,means feel happy

喜欢 is a verb,欢喜 is a noun and is more like a implicit expression of 喜欢。For exsampel, 我喜欢 means i like, you can plus something or someone as object, 欢喜 is joy or the noun meaning of like. A typical use is 心生欢喜, which means there is joy in my heart.
