MAQ is simply the best: i feel like she's my therapist, art guide, and of course conversation partner, all in 1. our classes are very fluid and natural with topics that range from how to be an influencer to journaling best practices to relationship advice to life goals, and no matter what subject we're on MAQ brings an aura of tranquility and a thought-provoking POV to each.

MAQ es una profesora con un cesto enorme de ideas, temas y metas sobre los cuales se puede hablar y filosofar. Siempre la clase parece como una conversación con mi parcera favorita en vez de una enseñanza. Es como un polícromo de entretenimientos. Si tienes clase con ella, nunca te vas a aburrir. Por el contrario, tendrás una conversación profunda, aprendiendo temas de Colombia y especialmente de Antioquia que te sorprenderán (lo notarás cuando vayas a tomar tu próxima ‘Pola’). Pues, sólo quiero decir: gracias por un aprendizaje realmente chimba.

I’ve had many lessons with Maq and she has really helped me improve my conversational Spanish. She speaks very clearly and is always easy to understand. Maq is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about a wide range of topics so our classes have a lot of variety and are always unique. We are currently exploring different styles of music in Colombia, and the time and effort Maq has put into the learning material has really impressed me.

I really enjoyed the lesson with MAQ, but the internet connection was not good. It made it difficult to hear everything she was saying. I have not had this problem with Italki before.

MAQ es una maestra generosa, inteligente y muy amable. Cada semana no puedo esperar trabajar con ella porque su pedagogía personal siempre es la que necesito. Yo recomendaría MAQ para todo el mundo que quiere aprender a su propio velocidad y conocer una persona genuina que quiere ayudarte hablar castellano como un nativo.
