My name is Jaan and I teach English and Dutch.
I am Dutch i was born in Amsterdam The Netherlands and I live in Madrid Spain
I came to spain 42 years ago to study Spanish
In my whole life i have been speaking Dutch, English and Spanish in my private and professional life.我的教學經歷
I am TEFL certified. And I have been teaching English and Dutch to adults professionally for 11 years in Madrid.. I have taught English and Dutch in companies, academies and in people´s home. Now I only teach online.
As a second speaker myself, I can explain grammar very well especally to Spanish speakers.
I am also a qualified Life Coach, I can help you with your motovation or get rid of any limiting beliefs that could hinder you in your learning process.我的課程內容與教學風格
I teach general English and conversation classes on a one to one basis. I also teach business English for specific purposes for professionals like health and administrative workers. I can adapt my classes to any field or level
I like to use short texts to read or videos to watch with the student and afterwards comment on them. I send material to my students before the class and after each class I send another email with feedback, homework and new material.我的教材

Jaan is a very experienced teacher and always makes the classes fun and engaging. I am a busy working mom so I can only take lessons on Sunday morning but I actually really look forward to these classes every week! Fantastic, enthusiastic and very motivating teacher. I highly recommend Jaan if you want to perfect your Dutch or are starting out and need someone who will motivate you.

During the first trial lesson, we got to know each other and Jaan explained to me how the future lessons will go. She was very professional and knowledgeable, when I made mistakes she corrected me in a constructive way. Really nice class.

Jaan is was just outstanding. We had our trial lesson and she led the conversation smoothly and professionally. It is definitely an advantage that she speaks many languages fluently, a factor that made this lesson unique in regard to other teachers. I am looking forward to our next lesson :)
