I'm a Sixth Form student from London, UK.
I study A-Levels in both the sciences and social sciences. I greatly enjoy reading non-fiction books both in Hebrew and in English.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking outdoors and experimenting with landscape photography.我的教學經歷
First and foremost, I'm passionate about learning. I see teaching as an interaction between students and teachers- exchanging ideas and views. I can learn from you as much (if not more) as you can learn from me. I'm really excited about the possibility of interacting with students on Italki.
Hebrew is my native language. I lived in Israel for the majority of my life, and therefore I speak it fluently. To back my linguistic ability, I received an A* in both GSCE and A-Level Hebrew.
Context:
--> A* is the highest grade available in the British grading system
--> GSCEs and A-Levels are the qualifications secondary school (high school) students undertake in order to graduate school.我的課程內容與教學風格
First, we'll discuss what it is that you aim to achieve from our sessions. Then depending on how often you'd like to meet, I'll make a lesson plan with short-term and long-term goals. I like tailoring the resources I use and my teaching based on the student's needs and character.
In general, we'll either use textbooks, videos and audio recordings to practice reading and writing or go through interactive exercises/quizzes that focus on specific topics or skills.
A document with our lesson notes and my feedback will be shared with you.我的教材

Shahar is patient, polite, and prepared! I hired him as a supplemental Hebrew tutor for my daughter who is studying for her bat mitzvah, and her Hebrew reading skills are improving greatly. His lessons are very organized and his manner is very encouraging. I would recommend him for learners of any age!

I can highly recommend Shahar’s lessons if you want to improve your Hebrew skills or learn Hebrew from the scratch. He is such a knowledgeable and patient teacher who encourages and supports me all the time. Shahar really adapts to my needs and my language level and helps me to make progress.
