Oi! Meu nome é Sâmeque, mas pode me chamar de Sam. Nasci em Belém - Pará, Brasil, mas atualmente moro na Bahia :)
Amo aprender idiomas, e conversar sobre tudo relacionado a línguas — gosto muito de conhecer novas culturas. Também amo cozinhar, ler, tocar violão, cantar e ajudar pessoas a terem uma vida melhor no trabalho voluntário que realizo. Tenho muita experiência em ensino individual.

Meu estilo de ensino é focado no método comunicativo. Também utilizo diferentes ferramentas para tornar nossa aula mais dinâmica e especial — Google Docs, imagens, dever de casa (se você quiser), vídeos e gravações em áudio pra você praticar entre as nossas aulas.
Dou aulas de conversação, onde conversamos sobre algo interessante, te ajudo com correções e tiro qualquer dúvida que você tiver relacionadas à gramática ou a formas mais naturais de falar.

I just took my first class with Sâmeque and it was great! He's very caring, organized, and knowledgeable. I appreciated his attention to detail as I was struggling with some of the pronunciations. I've gotten myself a lessons package and plan to schedule classes multiple times a week with Sâmeque. Thanks for all your help and I'm already looking forward to the next class.

Sâmeque is a gem and natural teacher. Prior to the lesson, he reached out to see what I needed help with and used that to create a personalized plan for our class. The plan he created was very thorough and thoughtful.
One of the things I struggle with is pronunciation and Sâmeque's explanation was very clear and helpful. I also really appreciated the fact that Sâmeque gave me homework!

Sâmeque is an excellent teacher who is very proactive and helpful in typing out new vocabulary which arises in conversation practice. He is also highly proficient in English, which is very helpful when one doesn't yet have the right words in Portuguese to express something.
