I provide lessons that focus on conversation where we practice speaking about different topics that interest you in English and discuss any questions you may have about: grammar, syntax or vocabulary. I can also provide more structured lessons that follow a course book and provide you with more specific exercises to improve your English ability. I also offer English lessons for young learners. I use many different materials in my lessons such as: articles, videos and games! In trial lessons I get to know you and your goals and we can talk about which option is best for you.我的教材

Piano InstructorI taught piano to beginner learners for three years. In doing so I employed a mixed curriculum using both coursebooks but also resources I created myself to improve the learners experience, I also encouraged regular practice while also providing regular feedback on how to fix mistakes and improve. All of these skills will be helpful in language instruction as well.

Volunteer Event HostThis is a volunteer position where I host events -online discussions via Zoom- on the language learning platform Duolingo. My responsibilities are to facilitate discussions among EFL learners by; asking questions, coming up with prompts and creating interesting activities to encourage languages learners to get outside their comfort zone.

Our 12 years old daughter loves her lessons with James. Avital takes lessons twice a week. We have seen an improvement in her English language skills since she started working with James, and we are so grateful for the positive impact that he has had on her learning.
James is very skilled at tailoring his teaching style to suit child’s interests and strengths. When we asked him for more conversational practice for our daughter James found an individual way to engage her in conversation by speaking about topics that she loves, like books, movies, and more. This approach helps her to improve her conversational skills and also makes the lessons more enjoyable.
We highly recommend James as an English teacher for teens. His individualized approach, flexibility, and ability to engage students in conversation make him an excellent choice for anyone looking to improve their child's English language skills.

James is the teacher of my 11 years daughter and 7 years son. They have been studying with James for some time. He is a very patient kindly and professional teacher.
