Hi! My name is Sarah-Jeanne. I am 29 years old and live in Rishikesh, India. I am a physical therapist and have worked with neurological clients for 5 years. I am an open-minded person. I love to travel and learn about other cultures. I love hiking, camping, and everything related to nature. I have also been practicing yoga for years. Bonjour! Je m'appelle Sarah-Jeanne et je vis à Rishikesh, en Inde. Je suis physiothérapeute de formation et j'ai travaillé en neurologie pendant plusieurs années. J'aime voyager et apprendre sur d'autres cultures. J'aime la randonnée, le camping et la nature. Je fais du yoga depuis plusieurs années.

I think that conversation and immersion are good ways to learn a language. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and to build up your confidence to speak French. I adjust to your needs and speed, and I am ready to help you with whatever subject you need. Je pense que la conversation et l'immersion sont de bonnes façons pour devenir fonctionnel dans une langue. Mon but est de vous render confortable et confiant dans l'apprentissage du français. Je m'ajuste à vos besoins et à votre vitesse d'apprentissage et suis ouverte à discuter de tous les sujets qui vous feraient plaisir.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons vary depending on your needs. I mainly do conversational classes. As we speak about the subjects that interest you, I will help you formulate your ideas in French. I can give you some grammar materials when something specific needs to be improved. I also have a formation in healthcare, so if you are a healthcare professional and you want to learn French for work, I might be the person you need. Mes leçons varient selon vos besoins. Mes cours sont principalement de la conversation. J'ai aussi une formation en santé, donc si vous êtes un professionnel de la santé et voulez apprendre le français pour le travail, je pourrais être la personne dont vous avez besoin.

I’ve tried numerous French professors, but Sarah Jeanne was by far the best. She was very positive, helpful and encouraging with me. She was very patient as I struggled through and never once made me feel inadequate. I would recommend her to anyone trying to learn French and would easily give her a 10/10!

I've requested much less formal lessons than some others would, but I chat with Sarah-Jeanne for an hour every couple of weeks to practice my formerly-fluent-now-grossly-out-of-practice French. I find her delightful to talk to and she does a good job of providing me with the vocabulary I'm missing or correcting my grammar in passing, which is exactly what I'm looking for. She's great!
