I'd like to share my opinion about the social/psychological problems that comes with language-learning. Just as in any other hobby, learning a new language happens at different paces for different people. Starting from ground zero, you constantly build your skills, while this is not happening at the same rate for everyone. Many quit right away. A vast majority is seeking to socialize rather than learning a new language - as if these two targets can not go hand-in-hand. And there you have the problem. If you progress too far, as in any other activity, you create an outcast out of yourself. The pool of people to share your thoughts and emotions had already shrunk to a very shallow level. No matter how open and encouraging you are, people around you might have an inferiority complex. And to be honest, why wouldn't they? What I'm referring to is a subset of a bigger problem. I'm sure there is a brief way of describing this situation. I'm not the only person who stumbled upon that. When I first read the works of F.Nietzsche, I realized that I might be on the path of self-destruction. But it was too late I guess. Unique skills and achievements come at a price. Embrace your strength. Don't be ashamed of your power. We have our own role to play in this mundane world, just as the others do.

I found a new room last month. Unfortunately the other room is rented by my colleague. I heard something about her, but Fate has us meet from a thousand miles away. Just as expected, in the first week something she did to others happened to me. if your opponent is too tough to fight, him/her/it can at least be avoided. "Of the 36 alternatives, running away is best." I told the landlord immediately that I will not live here next month. She asked why, I didn’t say a single word. I started to live in a barber shop this month. I spent time to explain it to the student, she still couldn’t believe it. But at least I can sleep after the customers and hairdresser leave at night. The spring snow begins to pile up. Even in my hometown I could not stand the chill, Let alone after half my life drifting along.

When East meet West, food is the topic talked most. When a westerner cookng food with a scales to accurately measure the amount of each ingredient, meanwhile an easterner using a chopstick to dig into the food then taste it to judge the food tastes good or not. Both of the two ways sounds hard. Maybe you have a recipe in your hand, and follow the steps to finish a dish, but it tastes vey different from what it introduced on the recipe. Even when boiling an egg, someone use hot water, some others use cold water. Adding salt or not is also a problem, let alone time is the most influential element. As a result, a boiled egg can be have a variety of flavors. So, I am afraid of recommending any recipes to others, let alone, some healthy ones! Sometimes, I doubt whether healthy recipes really exist, if do, why people always go to the doctor?
