Traditional Sudanese dress is really quite distinctive and deeply rooted in the culture. For the women, the standout garment is definitely the tobe - this is a large, rectangular piece of fabric, usually cotton, that gets draped and wrapped around the body. It covers the head, shoulders, and flows all the way down to the feet. Women have so many options when it comes to the tobe - they can choose from all sorts of colors and patterns, with intricate embroidery and embellishments. It's a really elegant, sophisticated look. As for the men, their traditional attire is the jalabiya - a long, flowing robe that hits the ankles. These are typically white or off-white in color, sometimes with some decorative stitching around the collar and cuffs. And you'll often see the men pairing the jalabiya with a turban or a traditional Sudanese hat. When it comes to the younger generation, the girls tend to wear these really vibrant, colorful dresses or skirts with matching tops. They've got these bold prints, beautiful embroidery, and lots of beadwork - it's a really eye-catching, festive style. And the boys will usually wear short-sleeved shirts and ankle-length pants, sometimes plain, sometimes patterned. The little boys might also don those traditional Taqiyah caps. Across the board, Sudanese traditional clothing is all about these loose, flowing garments made from natural fibers like cotton. It's perfectly suited to the hot, arid climate, and it's a visual representation of Sudan's rich cultural heritage.

Before talking about this topic, you should know your purpose of learning a new language. For exams, communicating with foreign friends or just wanting to understand the world better by reading books from different cultures. As for me, each of the three reasons promoted me to learn English in different period. During the process of learning English, I have tried mang ways to make me learn it easily. Using translation software was one of them, but failed. Because all the softwares were created by Chinese. The grammar differences between Chinese and English cause that a normal Chinese sentence can't be translate into native English but Chinglish. For a simplest example, if we ask others enter into a door first in polite, we will say "你先请!”, "你"means you, "先”menas first and “请”means please. If we use a software to translate it , it will show that you first please, not after you. Meanwhile if we translate the sentence" after you" into Chinese, it might be show " 跟着你” which closer to the meaning"follow you ". Of course, they might have corrected these simple wrongs, but there are still numerous English idoms or other expressions waiting them to type in their softwares. So,if you really want to learn a new language, you should build the directed connection between a thing and the new language with words or sentences, not translate it into your native language first.
