Disclaimer: I am not an expert in Bitcoin or crypto currencies! This class will teach the basic history and ideas behind Bitcoin. The focus will be on bitcoin not on other crypto currencies. The following questions will be discussed in the group: When did you first hear about Bitcoin? Would you like to own some? Is inflation a problem in your country? Do you own any? What is a crypto wallet? What are some problems with bitcoin?

Students will attempt to do the following in class: 1. Explain why Bitcoin was created. 2. Understand what a crypto wallet is. 3. Understand how bitcoin is similar to gold. 4. Know the some of the pro and cons of Bitcoin. Students will be comfortable having basic conversations about Bitcoin.
