The modern standard Arabic

We will learn about some Egyptian vocabulary, common Egyptian words, 
 questions in the first meeting, and to introduce yourself.

The most common Egyptian expressions

занáдто - too, extremely 
купувáти/купи́ти - to buy
руди́й - red-haired (for animals and people) (m)
незгрáбний - clumsy (m)

навпаки́ - vice versa
глáдити - to pet

 У мене, наприклад, є кіт. Я хотів мати пса, але тато сказав, що наша квартира занадто маленька для пса, тому мені купили кота.
Йому́ вже 6 ро́ків. А мені́ 9 ро́ків. Це значить, що я на 3 ро́ки ста́рше. Кота звати Рудо́льф, він рудий та незграбний. А ще він ду́же товсти́й. Мабу́ть, тому він таки́й леда́чий. Чи навпаки́, він леда́чий, тому що зана́дто товсти́й. 
Мені́ подо́бається його́ гла́дити. А він не лю́бить, коли́ його́ гла́дять. Тому́ він ча́сто мене́ дря́пає. Він дряпає мене і диван. І ніколи не дряпає маму, тому що вона його годує.
Кажуть, що коти бачать привидів. Я сподіваюсь, що це неправда, тому що Рудольф іноді довго дивиться в одне місце. Краще я не буду про це думати, тому що мені страшно.
Що він там бачить?
Але я дуже люблю нашого кота. І він любить нас так сáмо. Тільки він занадто гордий. Життя без тварин нуднe і сумнe. Як добре, що у нас є кіт!
