La cigarra y la hormiga

Durante el verano,
cantaba la cigarra
sin parar ni un momento,
mientras la hormiga
con gran esfuerzo
transportaba el grano
a su escondrijo.

Cuando llegó el invierno,
la cigarra, sin nada que comer,
fue a pedir a la hormiga
un poco de comida.
"Por favor," dijo,
"tengo hambre. Déjame
algún grano para pasar
este invierno tan cruel."

La hormiga preguntó:
"¿Qué hacías tú en el verano
cuando yo trabajaba
sin descanso?"

"Yo cantaba y cantaba
bajo el sol radiante,"
respondió la cigarra.

"¿Cantabas?" replicó la hormiga.
"Pues ahora baila."

Y la hormiga cerró la puerta.

Moraleja

La moraleja de esta fábula es clara: es importante ser previsor y trabajar duro para asegurarse un futuro seguro. La historia destaca el valor de la diligencia y la responsabilidad.
