第48話　マンガが私にくれたもの

En 2021, el Gobierno de la Ciudad de México decidió ―pese a no cerrarse completamente el ciclo hasta el 2025― conmemorar con diversos eventos los siete siglos de existencia de México-Tenochtitlan, sus 700 años. De igual manera dentro de esta conmemoración se busca hablar de la Conquista de México y así hablar de 500 años de resistencia de los Pueblos Originarios y de que actualmente las 69 lenguas originarias en México se siguen manteniendo, de esta resistencia cultural que sigue viviendo, reconociendo y afirmando a los Pueblos Originarios de México. Es así como dentro de esta celebración se busca resaltar la gran diversidad y lo que representaba la Cultura Mexica y lo que significó su dominio, finalmente la fundación de nuestra ahora Ciudad de México.

La celebración comenzó en marzo, con el equinoccio de primavera, fecha de suma relevancia en la tradición ancestral, pues implica el renacer de la vida en un nuevo ciclo. Se escogieron lugares de relevancia histórica: se dio inicio a los festejos en la zona arqueológica de Cuicuilco, al sur de la capital del país, continuando en Azcapotzalco y en Iztapalapa, en cuyo Cerro de la Estrella se realizaba la Ceremonia del Fuego Nuevo.
El 13 de marzo de 2021 tocó turno a Xochimilco, en cuyo Parque Ecológico se abrió el Museo Chionampaxóchitl (Flor de Chinampas) y se develó el mural de mosaicos en Xochimilco, actividad con eco en el Pueblo de Magdalena Mixiuhca. Además, el 21 de mayo se realizó la ceremonia del Tóxcatl (“sequedad” o “cosa seca”), tradición para pedir lluvias a Tláloc durante mayo y junio, temporada estival.

Los eventos fueron realizados a lo largo del 2021, hasta septiembre, cuando se entrelazaron con los festejos por el Bicentenario de la Independencia de México. Las actividades que se desarrollaron contribuyen a garantizar el acceso al derecho a la identidad cultural y a la memoria, porque son sustanciales para la convivencia social y para preservar la dignidad y la pertenencia.
