The Devil's Instruments]. There is an instrument called this. Why is it called by such a scary name?

　悪魔の楽器、こう呼ばれる楽器があります。どうしてそう呼ばれるんだと思いますか？音が悪魔みたいに怖いから？お金がかかりすぎるから？	答えは、弾くのが難しすぎるからです。
　その楽器は、バンドネオンという楽器です。ドイツで生まれて、アルゼンチンに渡り、アルゼンチンタンゴに欠かせない楽器です。アコーディオンによく似た、このバンドネオン。アコーディオンはピアノのような鍵盤ですが、バンドネオンは蛇腹の左右についたボタンでメロディーを作ります。
　何がそんなに難しいのか、理由は2つあります。
1つ目は、ボタンの位置が、不規則なこと。同じものもありますが、作られた年代や、会社や職人によってボタンの位置がちがいます。
2つ目は、同じボタンを押していても、蛇腹を引く時と押す時で音が変わることです。
　しかも、この楽器、もう作れる職人さんがほとんどいません。買うのも修理するのも大変です。
　ですが、わたしは、バンドネオンの、哀愁と深みがある音色が大好きです。たまに、コンサートがあるときは聞きに行きます。機会があったら、是非聞いてみてくださいね。
