今日は家事(かじ)に関する語彙（ご）です。
みなさんは、お昼ごはん、どんなものを食べますか。
私は冷蔵庫にある残り物を食べることが多いです。昨日の夕飯のおかずや朝作った子供のお弁当の残り物です。残り物をレンジで温めるときは、ラップを軽くかけて温めます。
残り物がないときは、うどんやラーメンを作って食べます。

高校生の息子のお弁当は栄養バランスを考えて作るようにしています。

ちなみに、今日は、冷蔵庫に残り物がなかったので、うどんを作って食べました。

私がごはん作りで面倒（めんどう）なのは、野菜を刻むことです。あと、野菜の皮をむくことも嫌いです。
ご飯作りのあと、後片付けをしたり、洗い物をしたりするのも嫌いです。
ご飯を作るときは、いつもエプロンを付けています。洋服が汚れるのが嫌なので、必ずつけています。
なので、うちにいるときは、エプロンはつけっぱなしです。
エプロンをつけたまま、掃除機をかけたり、洗濯物をしたり、もちろんゴミ出しにも行きます。

Hello, guys! This is Kate. Hope you are doing just fine. And today we’re going back to conditional sentences. This is part two and if you haven’t listened to the first podcast, it’s highly recommended to go back and take a look at them.

Alright, today’s podcast is about the 1st and 2nd conditionals. 
First of all let’s revise the first conditional. As you remember, we use it to talk about the future. Here are some examples for you to refresh your memory:

-If you study hard, you’ll enter the university.
-She will be happy if she earns outrageous sums of money.

I hope you remembered this one guys, because we’re going straight to the second conditional.

Why do we need it? To talk about present events which are almost impossible.

Here are a couple of examples:

If I could go anywhere, I would go to South Korea.
If I had more money, I would travel a lot.
I would drop out of my university if my parents didn’t pay for it.


Let’s take a look at the structure:

If+Past Simple, S+would+V1.
And vice versa
S+would+V1 | If+Past Simple(if the sentence is reversed, we don’t use a comma!)

في هذه القصة…
نلتقي بنبيٍّ عاش زمنًا طويلًا،
ورأى من قومه ما لم يره غيره.

إنه نوح عليه السلام.

عاش نوح بين قومه سنواتٍ طويلة،
يدعوهم إلى عبادة الله،
ويحذّرهم من عبادة الأصنام.

كان كلامه واضحًا،
وقلبه صادقًا،
لكن القلوب التي أمامه كانت قاسية.

ليلًا ونهارًا…
سرًّا وعلانية…
لم يملّ،
ولم يتعب.

لكن القوم سخروا منه.
قالوا:
“ما نراك إلا بشرًا مثلنا.”

ومع ذلك، استمر نوح.
لأن الدعوة عنده لم تكن لحظة…
بل عمرًا كاملًا.

ثم جاء الأمر الغريب.
أمره الله أن يصنع سفينة،
في أرضٍ لا بحر فيها.

بدأ نوح يعمل،
يضرب الخشب،
ويجمع الألواح.

وكان قومه يمرّون به،
يضحكون،
ويسخرون.

أما نوح،
فكان يعمل بصمت،
ويثق بوعد الله.

وحين جاء اليوم الموعود…
نزل المطر.
لم يكن مطرًا عاديًا،
بل مطرًا لم تعرفه الأرض من قبل.

وفاضت المياه من كل مكان.
وركب نوح السفينة،
ومعه المؤمنون،
ومن كل زوجين اثنين.

وارتفعت السفينة فوق الماء،
وغرقت الأرض بما عليها.

كان مشهدًا ثقيلًا…
مؤلمًا…
لكنه عادل.

وبعد زمن،
هدأ المطر،
وسكنت المياه.

ورست السفينة.
وبدأت حياة جديدة.

قصة نوح عليه السلام ليست عن الطوفان فقط،
بل عن الصبر،
والثبات،
والثقة بالله…
حتى عندما لا يفهمك أحد.

هذه كانت قصة نوح عليه السلام…
نلتقي في قصة جديدة من
