Hello everyone. This episode is about the price and payment terms in a contract, one of the core clauses of a commercial contract.
价款就是交易的总金额，要写清具体数字和结算货币（jié suàn huò bì)，比如 “人民币 5 万元”。
 Price refers to the total transaction amount, and you must state the specific figure and settlement currency clearly, such as "50,000 RMB".
支付条款要明确三点：支付方式(zhī fù fāng shì)，比如转账（zhuǎn zhàng）、现金（xiàn jīn）；支付时间，比如交货前付 30%；支付账户(zhī fù zhàng hù)，要写清收款方（shōu kuǎn fāng）的银行信息（yín háng xìn xī）。
The payment terms need to specify three key points: the payment method, like bank transfer or cash; the payment time, such as paying 30% before delivery; and the payment account, with the payee’s complete bank information clearly written. 
这个条款写得明明白白，才能避免付款时出现金额、时间的纠纷（jiū fēn），保障双方的资金权益。
 A clearly defined price and payment clause can avoid disputes over the amount and timing of payment, and protect the financial rights and interests of both parties.

Convergent Thinkers vs. Divergent Thinkers: Is One Better Than the Other?

verybody is capable of both convergent and divergent thinking, depending on the situation. However, it’s natural to lean more toward one or the other when approaching problems and projects.

“Some people have a natural preference for divergent thinking. They are the people in organizations who love to come up with new ideas,” says Manning, “They are also the people who are most useful when solving daunting, complex challenges because they are more likely to articulate ideas that are new and useful.”

The real issue lies in becoming too reliant on one method of thinking. “Too much divergent thinking can lead to endless ideation and no solutions. Too much convergent thinking can lead to no new ideas and ‘analysis paralysis,’”

Project Management and the Lure of Convergent Thinking
That’s a trap that project management professionals—who are notoriously married to their plans and processes—can fall into easily.

Let’s break this all down with some examples. Divergent thinking starts with an objective—perhaps you need to generate 1,000 new leads within a month. You start by brainstorming creative ideas and solutions to satisfy that goal: happy hours with famous speakers, direct mailers including $100 gift cards, a man in a gorilla suit on the corner of Times Square.

From there, you move into evaluating those options and settling on the one(s) that works best. This is an example of convergent thinking.

Do you go to work even when you're not feeling well?

If you do, you're not alone. A survey of workers in the US has found that 9% of people never take sick days.

Some said that's just because they don't get sick very often. But others said pressure at work makes them less likely to take sick days.

And some part-time workers said they feel financial pressure to go to work even when they aren't feeling well — because they need the money!

Yahoo News and YouGov surveyed almost 1,500 US adults — although only about half of them were actually workers, so the other half weren't able to comment.

About 16% said they take one or two sick days a year. Twelve percent said they take "a few" days, and 4% said they take "more than a few" days.

Another 3% of people said they don't have the option to take sick days where they work.

But how do your colleagues feel when you take a sick day — or when you go in to work even when you're not well?

More than one-third of people said they prefer their colleagues to stay at home if they're sick. But 5% said people should work even when they're sick.

However, only 7% of people said they always believe their colleagues really are sick when they have a day off!

Experts told Yahoo News that going to work when you're unwell isn't a sign of commitment, however — they said it just shows you're disrespecting yourself and your body.
