諦め（あきらめ）の表現（ひょうげん）も使ってみますよ。

〈意味〉
役(やく)に立(た)たないこと／意味(いみ)のないこと／必要(ひつよう)のないこと

こんな風(ふう)に使(つか)います･･･
「無駄なN」、「Sは無駄だ」、「Sが無駄になる」、「Sが（なに）を無駄にする」
