Chores and Housework: Dishes, Laundry and Taking Out the Trash | Real American English #160
الوصف
Chores are the small jobs that keep a home running. English chore phrases are collocations, which means words that always go together. Learners often translate the verb from their own language and say "I make the dishes," "I make the laundry" or "I throw the garbage." Americans say "do the dishes," "do the laundry" and "take out the trash." The wrong verb is understood, but it sounds strange.
