الوصف
Numbers are where misunderstandings cost the most: a salary, a price, a deadline, a meeting time or a delivery address. This episode teaches you to hear and decode lakh and crore, day-first dates, IST and landmark directions quickly and safely.
What you will learn:
• Lakh and crore, Indian digit grouping, and quick conversion tricks
• Rupees, paise, "K", LPA, CTC and "only" on formal amounts
• Saying numbers aloud: 10-digit mobile numbers, "double" and "triple"
• Dates written day first, "coming Friday", "day after tomorrow" and "fortnight"
• Time: one time zone (IST, UTC + 5:30, no daylight saving), "sharp", "ten in the night"
• Addresses and landmarks: opposite, behind, beside, Main and Cross roads, PIN code, ground floor
• Practice: decode eight numbers, plus six strategies and self-check questions
Level: B1–B2. Self-study: listen, then take the quizzes.
