Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を楽しく勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

ぼくの日常生活の話を聞くことで、日本語のリスニングをよくしたり、新しい言葉を知ってもらえたらいいなと思います。

日本の都市戦略研究所というところが2008年から世界の都市ランキングを発表しています。
経済
研究・開発
文化・交流
居住
環境
交通・アクセス

という6つの分野で採点したものです。
世界の主要な48の都市を順位づけしています。

このランキングでは、総合で東京は8年連続3位だそうです。
何が良くて何が良くないのか見てみました。

分野別でランキングが上がったもの、そのまま、下がったものがあります。

上がったものは、
居住ー11位から3位
交通ー10位から8位

居住は住みやすさですね。円安の影響、住宅、物価の安さ、飲食店などの多さなどから生活コストが安い都市としてランクが上がりました。日本人にとっては東京の家賃はとても高いですが、海外の人から見ると安い、ということですね。

交通はなんといっても公共交通機関の利便性が高い、電車などが使いやすいですよね。個人的には海外に比べるとタクシーは使いにくいかなと思います。

経済と環境はランクを落としました。
経済は10位、環境は16位だそうです。
新しい産業を見出すことや給料アップが必要だと思います。

ちなみに37位は大阪、42位は福岡でした。
1位はロンドン、2位はニューヨーク、今ぼくがいるイスタンブールは30位でした。

居住では、フランスのパリやスペインのマドリード、バルセロナが上位です。僕の生徒さんからはマドリード、バルセロナは物価は高いと聞いていましたが、世界で見ると住みやすい都市だということですね。ぼくたちのこの1年の旅行ではスペインにも行く予定なので、パリやバルセロナも見に行きたいなと思っています。
