Отец согласился, ведь он знал, что сын опытный охотник и у него есть ружье, так что ему нечего бояться. Но мальчик не возвратился. Отец пошел на поиски ночью, но не смог ничего найти. Утром он продолжил искать, и по следам на снегу смог найти сына. Мальчик сидел на дереве, потому что спасался от волков.
