오랫만에 친구를 만났어요

지난 주말, 오랫만에 친한 친구를 만났어요. 우리는 대학교 때 같은 반이었고, 졸업 후에도 자주 연락을 했지만, 서로 바빠서 몇 년 동안 직접 만나지 못했어요. 그래서 이번 만남이 더욱 기대되었어요.

친구와 만나기로 한 장소는 우리가 자주 가던 카페였어요. 이 카페는 대학교 근처에 있어서 예전부터 자주 갔던 곳이에요. 카페에 들어가자마자 익숙한 커피 향이 퍼졌고, 예전 추억이 떠올랐어요. 친구를 보자마자 우리는 반갑게 인사를 나누었어요. 서로의 얼굴을 보니 시간이 많이 흘렀지만, 여전히 친숙한 모습이었어요.

우리는 먼저 커피를 주문하고 자리에 앉았어요. 그리고 서로의 근황을 이야기했어요. 친구는 요즘 회사에서 새로운 프로젝트를 맡아서 바쁘다고 했어요. 저는 한국어를 가르치는 일을 하고 있어서 학생들과 있었던 재미있는 이야기를 들려주었어요. 친구는 제 이야기를 들으면서 많이 웃었어요.

그 후, 우리는 예전 대학교 시절 이야기를 하며 추억을 되새겼어요. 학창 시절에 함께 공부했던 일, 시험을 앞두고 밤을 새운 일, 그리고 함께 여행을 갔던 기억까지 다양한 이야기가 나왔어요. 특히, 졸업 여행 때 길을 잃어서 고생했던 이야기를 하면서 둘 다 크게 웃었어요.

카페에서 이야기를 나눈 후, 우리는 근처 공원으로 산책을 갔어요. 공원의 나무들은 가을빛으로 물들어 있었고, 시원한 바람이 불어서 기분이 상쾌했어요. 오랫동안 만나지 못했던 만큼, 함께 시간을 보내면서 더욱 친해진 느낌이었어요. 우리는 사진도 찍고, 맛있는 길거리 음식도 먹으면서 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요.

시간이 금방 지나가서 아쉬웠어요. 친구와 다음에도 꼭 다시 만나기로 약속했어요. 오랫만에 만나서 많은 이야기를 나누고 좋은 시간을 보낼 수 있어서 정말 행복했어요. 앞으로는 자주 만나서 더 많은 추억을 만들고 싶어요.
