Cost of living: Supermarket value food prices up as much as 50%

The cost of low-budget food in Britain’s supermarkets has risen by up to 50 per cent over the past year, official figures show.
The Office for National Statistics reports that the price of value pasta ranges has jumped by 50 per cent since April last year!
