 今年夏天很特别，从中国到外国，北方到南方，天气都非常热，温度也特别高。比如上海，夏天一般在三十五度左右。可是今年夏天有多热呢？最热的那段时间差不多每天都有四十多度。大家都说，这是最近二十年最热的夏天。有的专家说这是因为气候变化，环境被破坏了，以后全世界每年都会有这种不正常的天气，我们必须开始重视保护环境了。

Jīnnián xiàtiān hěn tèbié, cóng Zhōngguó dào wàiguó, běifāng dào nánfāng, tiānqì dōu fēicháng rè, wēndù yě tèbié gāo. Bǐrú Shànghǎi, xiàtiān yībān zài sān shí wǔ dù zuǒ yòu. This summer is very special, from China to foreign countries, north to south, the weather is very hot, the temperature is very high. In Shanghai, for example, it's usually around 35 degrees in summer. But how hot will it be this summer? During the hottest days, it was more than 40 degrees every day. By all accounts, it was the hottest summer in the last twenty years. Some experts say that this is because of climate change, the environment is destroyed, the world will have this abnormal weather every year, we must start to pay attention to the protection of the environment.

はい、こんにちは。洋平先生です。えー、今日はですね、名詞（めいし:noun) のことを話したいんですけど、その名詞なんですけど、な形容詞（なadjective)　に似ている名詞（めいし: noun） をちょっとだけ紹介したいです。で、これもよくあるまちがいですね。
『何々　”の”　何々』と言うべきなのに、『何々　”な”　何々』 と言ってしまう。ボキャブラリーですね、じゃあ、早速（さっそく）いきますね。えー1つ目は、”人気”、これは 　「な形容詞」じゃありません。これを『人気”な”』という人がほんとに多いんですが、『人気”の”』ですよ。例えば、
・人気のミュージシャン
・人気のおハリウッド俳優（はいゆう）
 
 などですよね。はい、ま、これ正直ですねえ、『人気なミュージシャン』と言っても、日本人もよくまちがえるんで、あまり問題はないんですが。あー、テストでは、「人気”な”」と書かないでほしいんですね。はい、オッケーですか。えーじゃ、次 ”一流（いちりゅう）”、うん、”一流”、これもな形容詞じゃありません。
・一流の選手 
・一流の先生
 
”の” ですよ。じゃあ、もう2つ、『ダントツ』
・ダントツの成績（せいせき）
 
ですよ。”な” じゃありません。じゃ、最後に凄腕（すごうで） 
・凄腕の刑事(けいじ）
・凄腕の医者
 
ですよ。うん、これは「凄腕”な”」じゃありません で、えーっとですねまあ、これらは「何々な」、「凄腕な」「ダントツな」と言うと、ちょっと変なんですけど、まあ、それほど問題じゃないんですね。 
 
で、ここでみなさんにもう1つ紹介したい単語がありまして、それが”病気”です で、この病気をまちがって ”な” と言ってしまうと良くないんですね。意味が変わってしまうんです。
え、『病気の人』と『病気な人』、これは意味がちがいます。え、『病気な人』というのはですね。えー、ちょっと、心に問題がある人、これが病院に行く心の病気ではないんですね。 
えー、そうではなくて、例えば
⑴　突然（とつぜん）怒り出す人
⑵　非常にわがままな人
⑶　人の不幸が好きな人
 
ちょっとおかしな人ですよねえ、そういう人をバカにした感じのスラングですね。
うん、ここ10年か、20年ぐらいでできたスラングだと思うんですけども、病気の人はまあカゼとかそういう まあ病気ですよね、本当の。はい、ちょっとこれだけをまちがえてほしくないと思って。えー、な形容詞 に似た名詞（めいし）を紹介させていただきました。じゃあ、みんな日本語の勉強がんばってね、バイバイ👋

Una buena forma de practicar idiomas es hablar o escribir sobre experiencias que has tenido. Aquí hay algunos ejemplos de preguntas que puedes responder para practicar los diferentes pasados  con tu propia experiencia: 
-¿Cuántos años tenías cuando empezaste a trabajar por primera vez?
-¿Qué habilidades aprendiste en tu primer trabajo que te han servido en otros trabajos?

It's been a while since I posted something. Happy 2023! 

I recently watched The Glory and am currently watching My Name on Netflix. They are similar because both of the lead characters are seeking revenge. 

It got me thinking.

Since two wrongs don't make a right, should we always be the bigger person and show mercy?

To forgive and forget?
To forgive but never forget?

Or

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Is there a limit to what we can put up with as humans? What do we do if someone crosses that line?

It was fascinating and I am enjoying My Name so far. I will watch the final episode tonight and post my thoughts after that.

The Magician's Performance (short story)

More than seven out of 10 Americans have been dishonest when trying to get a job, according to a new survey.

A company called ResumeTemplates asked 1,250 people in the US about how honest they are when looking for jobs, doing interviews or taking tests during the hiring process.

And 71% of US job seekers said they'd been dishonest.

One of the most common things to do was to give a false reference. Almost half of the participants said they'd done this.

Some said they didn't have a real reference to give, while others said their last boss didn't like them.

But people said they'd been dishonest all through the hiring process. More than one in five people said they'd lied on their resume.

Some companies give people tests during the hiring process — and 22% of people said they'd used Google, artificial intelligence software or the help of others to answer test questions.

So does being dishonest work?

The answer to that question might be "sometimes" — only around three out of 10 people said they had gotten caught.

Of course, that doesn't mean being dishonest is the right thing to do.

However, a 2023 survey by a company called Resume Builder found that it's not just people looking for jobs who lie.

In fact, the survey of more than 1,000 hiring managers found that almost 40% have lied to people in job interviews.
